Touring with Gibbo
Extended Tour 4: "Goin' South"
** Word of warning… it gets bloody cold up in New England. Bring your thermals.**

One nighter New England and South

Day #1: New England down to Dungog. Approx. 540kms
Leave Squeakygate Retreat, riding to Grafton via Pacific Hwy. or Lawrence. Take the Armidale Road [B78], through Ebor and Armidale. Turn left onto the New England Hwy.[A15] to Uralla. At Uralla turn left taking the Walcha Road to Walcha.
At Walcha take Thunderbolt’s Way to Gloucester.
At Gloucester you can decide to take Buckett’s Way east to Nabiac and the Pacific Hwy., taking in the National Motorcycle Museum there (which is quite awesome) and then travel south the Newcastle and Sydney. Or…
Take Buckett’s way South to Shroud, turn left and take Shroud Hill Road to Dungog.
In Dungog I would recommend the Settler’s Arms Hotel.

Day #2  Off to the Pacific Hwy.
Take the Clarence Town Road to Clarence Town then onto Seaham via E Seaham Rd., then Seaham Rd.,down to Raymond Terrace and Newcastle. There are other slower but pretty alternatives like Limeburners Creek Rd. And Italia Rd., both end up in the Pacific Hwy [A1].
Settler's Arms Hotel
